To check your next Advanced Canada workers benefit (ACWB) payment, use CRA My Account. For the public schedule, use the Government of Canada payment calendar. A scheduled issue date does not confirm that you will receive a deposit or how much it will be; payments may take a few days to arrive.

ACWB payment dates for 2026

The official 2026 calendar lists these scheduled issue dates:

  • January 12, 2026
  • July 10, 2026
  • October 9, 2026

Calendar checked October 5, 2026. For a different year, consult the official calendar linked above.

An advance instalment is not the whole yearly credit

The Canada workers benefit (CWB) is a refundable tax credit for people and families who work and earn a low income. It is claimed through an income tax return. ACWB refers to advance payments of part of that credit, issued in three instalments. A yearly CWB maximum in a headline is not the amount of an October deposit. See CRA's CWB overview and advance-payment explanation.

You do not need to calculate a benefit amount to find your own payment information. Start with what CRA shows for your account.

Open the official account, then make these checks

Use the CRA sign-in page and access your personal My Account. CRA directs readers there to see their next payment. If you cannot sign in, that page also provides account-access help.

When checking the payment information, focus on:

  • The program: are you looking at ACWB, rather than another credit or benefit?
  • The date and amount: use the information shown for your own payment, rather than a public maximum or another person's deposit.
  • The period: note which payment or instalment the information concerns, so you do not compare a single payment with a yearly credit.

These are reading checks, not a list of guaranteed screen labels. If the information is missing or unclear, do not infer eligibility or a payment amount from that alone. Use the official guidance linked above for your next question.

If an expected payment has not arrived

CRA's ACWB payment guidance says to wait 10 working days after the expected payment date before contacting it about a payment you did not receive. The same page provides the CRA contact link. Keep the expected date and the payment information you checked handy when you ask about it; that preparation list is an editorial suggestion.

Once you have checked your own payment details, put that date beside your upcoming bills. Our payday and bill calendar guide can help you see which bills fall before the money arrives.

A payment date can make a short cash-flow gap easier to see. Romii is coming soon in Ontario and is being built for small, temporary cash-flow gaps. Applications are not open yet. Join the Romii waitlist for launch updates.
