# How to find your Record of Employment online
Looking for your own Record of Employment (ROE)? Use My Service Canada Account (MSCA):
1. Open MSCA and sign in or register.
2. On the dashboard, select Employment Insurance benefits.
3. Select View my records of employment.
You can access and print electronic ROEs there, and verify information about paper ROEs. Service Canada documents this path.
If you landed on ROE Web
ROE Web is the portal employers use to create and submit ROEs. Employees looking for their own record use MSCA. If a search result sent you to an employer sign-in page, return to the MSCA Employment Insurance page and follow the dashboard path above.
If your ROE is missing
First, check that you are looking under View my records of employment in MSCA. Then ask your employer or payroll contact whether they issued your ROE electronically or on paper, and when they submitted or provided it. That answer tells you which record to look for and gives you a concrete detail to use if you need help.
If the record still seems missing, or the information you see appears wrong, use Service Canada's Employment Insurance contact page for the current help options.
MSCA says ROEs remain available to view for seven years after they are issued. If you are searching for an older record, the MSCA guidance is the place to check that access limit.
