What we collect
Your email address, the page where you joined, notification-request wording version, time and method, enrollment status, and unsubscribe events. Short-lived hashed network identifiers help limit abusive submissions.
Why we use it
To save your place, send a joining receipt and notify you when Romii launches. Joining does not create a credit account, start an application, or guarantee access to credit. The availability-only request is not a newsletter subscription; it covers only your joining receipt and the availability notification you requested. If you separately select optional emails, that choice is described below.
Where it is processed
Cloudflare stores the waitlist and operates this website. Resend processes joining receipts and launch emails. Service providers may process data outside Canada. Access to the list is restricted to authorized company staff.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the link in your email, without signing in. Unsubscribed addresses are excluded from launch exports. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. We retain waitlist details while needed to manage launch notifications and honor your choices. After you leave, we retain only records needed to document your notification request or an unsubscribe request. You can request deletion by contacting us.
If you choose the Founding User plan
Submitting the Founding User form requests a launch-availability email and records your early-user interest. The request wording version identifies this submission method; the ordinary waitlist form uses a separate availability checkbox. We record the early-user plan terms version, request time, joining order, applicable joining cohort and participation status. The Founding User form’s only checkbox is an optional choice for a financial-education newsletter with practical budgeting, saving and everyday money tips, plus routine product updates, feature test invitations, feedback invitations and early-user plan offers. We record that choice separately, including its wording version and withdrawal. The newsletter is included only in the new wording version; an earlier updates request is not automatically treated as a newsletter request. Leaving it unchecked does not affect your early-user request or eligibility for future founding recognition. A public form request does not prove email ownership or award a founding badge.
After product launch, if you complete verified registration and confirm early-user plan participation while signed in, our service uses your verified email, account identifier, registration time and confirmation evidence to check eligibility and prevent duplicate founding recognition. Eligible founding users receive their original cohort badge and a unique founding number, which are linked to their account for display after verified signup. We do not use early-user plan participation to decide credit approval or terms.
You can stop optional early-user plan updates without leaving the early-user plan, or withdraw early-user plan participation through the preferences link in your receipt. The general Unsubscribe action stops launch notifications and optional early-user plan emails while preserving your early-user plan participation, eligibility and any earned lifetime badge and founding number. Receiving emails is not a condition of founding recognition. Leave early-user plan is a separate, explicit choice that ends early-user plan participation and withdraws an earned badge. Used founding recognition numbers are retained and never reassigned. Access is restricted to authorized staff; we retain only the participation, joining-order/cohort, consent and allocation records needed to administer the early-user plan, honor withdrawals and prevent duplicate allocation. Contact support@romii.app for access, correction or deletion requests. Optional updates require a separate choice and the applicable communications safeguards before sending; ordinary waitlist permission does not authorize them.
Journal tools
Our Journal tools calculate answers in your browser. We do not send or save your questionnaire answers, rent amounts or results. Reloading the page clears them. Full screening results are offered after joining Romii’s early-user waitlist through the existing form; your email is used for the joining receipt and launch notification, not to calculate a result. Newsletter emails remain separately optional. The articles, basic guidance and urgent official resources remain available without joining. Sharing a tool copies only its public article link.
Optional sharing
After a saved signup, a thank-you panel on this page offers optional sharing. Sharing is optional. The invitation card and QR contain the same public waitlist link for everyone, not your email or a private preference link. We do not read your contacts or collect your friends’ details. If you choose an external sharing service, it processes the content and your activity under its own privacy terms; review the destination and message before sending.
Romii Growth and our social accounts
Romii Growth is an internal tool for Romii’s own Facebook Page and @romii.app Instagram account. Authorized staff use account identifiers, connection permissions and access tokens to manage this connection. If publishing is enabled, the tool may use approved text and images, publication identifiers and delivery records. Aggregate content and account performance may be reviewed if that feature is enabled; it is not active yet. This connection does not access private messages, run ads or collect banking information.
Credentials and connection records are stored privately on a Romii-controlled computer. Meta processes requests through its platform and any content published there. We review local records manually and remove information when no longer needed, when access is withdrawn, or after a valid deletion request, subject to records we must retain.
For access or deletion requests, email support@romii.app without sending passwords or access tokens. Disconnecting Romii Growth does not delete a Facebook or Instagram account or content already published there.
